2 years ago today we started the most scary adventure of our lives as we left our home to live in the Ronald McDonald house of Dallas. Our Heart Warrior would be born in 13 days and face more then anyone should ever have to face. Today I am sitting here as my almost 2 year old is watching morning cartoons in her pj's with sleepy eyes and stealing bites of my breakfast! God is so good, So faithful. Thank you to those of you that have taken this journey with us!!!
LOVE THIS!!! Today, two years ago, Annabelle was recovering from her Norwood. Tonight... two years ago, she crashed and almost died, CPR, ECMO.

God is so so so so good.
What a journey you have had and will continue to have. I personally hope you write a book with all your experience. You have a gift of writing. You do not know me, but I am a follower of Emma Janae. I got your blog from hers and have been following your blog for about a year now. Years ago, a family in your situation would have been so alone in their fears. But due to your support system and the wonderful internet, many many many can share in your experience. You don't know some of us, but we are here and we pray. Your family, especially your precious Ella, have opened our eyes to a lot of things. Many of us have never had to deal with this kind of situation, and we have no earthly idea what you have been through, but know that we are here and we love hearing about Ella and prayers continue. Such a large world, but such a small world in lots of ways. All of us that know you personally or just follow your blog have two things in common. GOD and THE GIFT OF PRAYER.
