New Prayer Request

I just talked with my mom on the phone and Amy wanted me to post a couple special prayer requests for Ella.  Jon & Amy are with her now, and even though she is still sedated, she is showing signs of being in a lot of pain.  Also, with the slightest noise or movement, she begins to cry.  Right now they are being very quiet in the room, keeping the lights off, etc.  Please pray that this pain would go away quickly, as these next 24-48 hours she will be weaned quickly off pain medications.  Also, please pray that she will be able to come off the vent easily.  At this time, she is still not breathing above the vent at all, but that is normal while under sedation.  The prayer is that as she begins to wake up, she will also begin taking breaths on her own.  We thank you for all your prayers so far, and ask that you please continue, as these next 24 hours will be very crucial in Ella's healing & recovery process.

Thank you!
~Aunt Kristina

  3. Continuing to pray for sweet Ella. I will pray specifically that she would not be in much pain. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you, Amy & Jon. I am praying for you also that God will allow His peace to consume you and comfort you as you wait and watch.

  4. I saw Ellas blog on a friends fb site this morning. I decided to take a look even though I don't normally follow blogs. I have spent all day reading it from the beginning. I have cried many times today and just stopped and prayed over and over. This blog has really changed me in just 6 hours. I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl and I will never again complain about a fever or cold! I see know just how easy I have it. I'm not sure how old you are (Amy and Jon) but I am 25. I had fears through my whole pregnancy and I cannot even imagine what you all have gone through. I will continue to pray for not just ella but for the whole family. I will also be adding u to our prayer list in our life group! I have also added the blog to my fb so that others may read it and if ellas story can't change someone's outlook on life I don't know what can. Amy and Jon if you need anything please feel free to contact me by email jerilwalkup@gmail.com. God bless you and thank you for sharing your story
