The morning Ella was born I was visiting with Amy. As you might recall we were blessed with some extra visiting time due to a miscommunication or rather a non-communication about the fact that Amy was not supposed to eat anything before the c-section resulting in an eight hour delay. If you missed the drama you can read all about it here. Anyways, during that time Amy was sharing with me how her and Jon had looked up some verses the night before about joy. One of the verses they really liked was the second part of Psalm 30:5 which says
“Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.”
Daddy got this great big smile out of Sweet Ella. I hope it brings you a little bit of joy!
Ella’s lungs are looking great! Her CPAP is still on but they are slowly weaning her off of it. Poor baby gets cross eyed when looking at you because her eyes try to focus on the tube between her eyes.
We are so grateful for each prayer lifted on our behalf. God is good...all the time!
For Amy and Jon,
Aunt Rachael
